MAGAZINE NAME IDEAS:
I asked ten people of my target audience to cast their votes on my list of magazine name ideas. This list contained 12 options, and every voter was given the opportunity to vote for their top three names. The name with the most votes would then be used as the title of my magazine
The name 'Revolution' received 7 votes, the most out of all of the names. This is the name i will be using for my magazine. I hope to use the lighting of the text to create a shadow effect when making my magazine; this way the name will be well lit up on the page and so will jump out of the page and be eye-catching for the audience. To achieve this, I may need to put the title on a black background to make the effect efficient. The word 'revolution' suggests rebellion or change, which I feel will fit the genre of music and theme of the magazine perfectly, as it could suggest a change in music or changes in the way that we look at music. This could also suggest that this type of magazine will be a change in what we have known before.
